I'm here. According to AG, oil prices will NOT have a significant contribution to inflation.

Yet, I don't remember laughing about inflation. In fact, I think I was one of your few supporters, saying that there was inflation risk, interest rate risk, to the markets. Guess I was wrong. Look at the index charts, so were you. But I guess if your prediction of a market meltdown in 4Q99 comes true in 2Q2000, then you were right?

As I recall, I was the Y2K-fears-are-unwarranted bigot primarily, and secondarily I said I believed the reports that inflation were benign were true. On the first issue I put my money where my mouth was, staying fully invested. Re the second, I don't know any more than anyone else. Well, the bill at Safeway...
