Not to beat a dead horse, BUT <gg>, I bought qcom last year at 17 1/2. I thought I was doing pretty well; why do you say I'm not making money on it?

That was a rhetorical question. I know you mean that I haven't made any money on it this year, but that's a very short period - in fact, meaningless to a ltb&h investor. So your "dead money" comment is only meaningful in the context of a short term trader's timeframe, right? Heck, there are probably day traders who characterize a stock as dead money if it's flat for a whole day <gg>.
