Larry, The article you referenced indicates a "lunchable" in progress. biz.yahoo.com The deal comes on the heels of L&H's $938 million buyout earlier this month of Dictaphone, the company that pioneered speech-recording equipment. L&H hopes that acquisition will provide it with a springboard into the U.S. health care market, where many professionals use Dictaphone equipment. Maybe they'll buy Seagates disc drive business and finish off this buying spree. Somewhere they are going to have to find a place to store this mountain of digitized voice data, individual .wav files for voice recognition of each user and the transcripts. In the mean time I will be waiting for the announcement of a portable Dictaphone device that uses CompactFlash and the circle will be completed. dictaphone.com Ausdauer
