VANCOUVER, British Columbia, March 28 /PRNewsire/ -- LinuxWizardry Systems, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: LNXWF) wishes to announce that a private placement for $5,000,000 is being completed for the development and production of the Linux based low-cost router. The Company plans to release the beta version of the Linux Apprentice router in April of 2000 and release a commercial version of the Apprentice router by August of 2000. The LinuxWizardry router will allow small to medium businesses to take control of their network for the first time because of the user-friendly features that will not require an expensive network specialist to configure. The router business is presently dominated by Cisco Systems (CSCO).
