My statement was regarding the fact a $30k loss doesn't bother me, not the fact I have 1K shares.

CPQ News - AltaVista IPO - READ THIS!

I just got off the phone with IR from CMGI.

The AltaVista IPO will be priced on April 10th. The range for the pricing will be $18 - $20/share with
14.8 million shares being offered.

The IPO will happen most likely THE NEXT DAY - On APRIL 11th.

NOTE: CPQ will announce earnings after the close of business on April 24th...

So - if you were waiting to buy CPQ on or after earnings, you might miss the boat.

Recall how 3COM popped bigtime after the PALM IPO? We could (and IMO, will DEFINITELY) see
some major movement in CPQ leading up to, and through the AltaVista IPO.

Once this quarter is done, I think we will see some big buyers coming into CPQ, trying to load up on
as many shares as possible ahead of the IPO/earnings.

Good luck longs!
