i'm not so sure about that...not even a de facto recession in Japan can bring down the yen apparently. the BoJ is printing Yen like crazy to keep it from going through the roof, in the process amassing one of the biggest hoards of dollars in the world...
there's a sort of printing contest going on between the Fed and the BoJ...

quite frankly trying to predict the yen's movements on fundamental developments is almost impossible....i'd say it's probably headed down in the near term though once the fiscal year end is past.
