You've laid out the reasons why Mike put a HUNT report on ice. Why bother? We generally know where it fits in the GG scheme of things...probably doesn't...so a HUNT exercise is pointless effort that could be better used elsewhere.

HUNT is about finding keepers, and rejects. Let's focus our energies on the keepers.

I don't know much about the bill presentment business.
Online check writing by the banks solves the problem of
paying; but not of knowing whom to pay, how much, when.
Especially when one is away.

There doesn't seem to be any good solution for now. I don't
know how CKFR works. One service I did see was paymybills.
I found it to be too risky.
