Good point. Another number that is often looked at is earnings for the last year (the last 4 quarters). And that 81 cent loss from Q1 of last year falls out next quarter. So when most recent 12 months earnings are calculated next quarter and compared to the current quarter, they will include whatever is earned plus 81 cents. The numbers will start looking very different from the way they were looking a few months ago.

Most analysts simply don't have the time to examine every detail of every aspect of a company's business. But those figures will be reviewed, and those figures should be quite compelling.

Comment: Never really thought about it in that context...but were AMD to post the highest eps on the Nasdaq, price revaluation would occur overnight!

By the way, just heard Best Buy beat street estimates...up over $6...Got to be another in an unending series of good signs for AMD!
