Swiftrade Licenses Online Investing Portal to German
Investment Bank

ZiaSun Subsidiary Gains Increased Access to European Market

SOLANA BEACH, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 28, 2000--ZiaSun Technologies Inc. (OTCBB:ZSUN - news), a
profitable Internet technology holding company, today announced that it has licensed Swiftrade Inc. (www.swiftrade.com), its
online global investing portal, to a German merchant bank.

The bank, Eupac (Euro Pacific Securities Service GmbH & Co. KG (www.eupactrade.com)), is a well-established subsidiary
of Euro Pacific AG (www.eupac.de), providing customers with a high level of support in their native language. Eupac will use
Swiftrade's backend program and stock trading agreements, which currently facilitate online stock trading in the U.S., Hong
Kong and London, to operate its own multi-language investing portal. Swiftrade Inc. is operated by ZiaSun's wholly owned
subsidiary Momentum Internet Inc. (www.momentumplus.com).

Stewart Dovey, managing director of Swiftrade Inc., commented, ``We are very excited with this new, long-term opportunity
through which Swiftrade will make major strides in the European market. The link with Eupac enables Swiftrade to provide
German investors access to brokers in three international markets. Swiftrade will gain access to Eupac's extensive, existing
customer base.'

Dovey continued, ``We have worked very closely with key Eupac personnel to ensure the new site is both appealing and
user-friendly for German investors, while remaining consistent with the Swiftrade site. This deal provides Swiftrade a keystone
partnership with a well-established banking organization, which will promote Swiftrade's expansion into other European
markets. Combined with ZiaSun's recent listing on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange (symbol ZIA), Swiftrade is poised for further
expansion into other European markets.'

Wolf Wiese, managing director of Euro Pacific, stated, ``Our German investors are interested in diversifying their investments
into multiple markets via the newest Internet technology. Swiftrade offers them an immediate opportunity to invest in some of
the world's largest financial markets.'
