There is nothing wrong with riding this 'bear tech market' with some good safe stocks that move 4 to 8% in a session. Looks a little overbought but could still move up as it broke out of a V-cup and handle chart formation on very high volume. Just worth having this play here so you can see the almost perfect chart pattern and 4 days where the stock opened at low and closed near the high of the day. This stock has everything including high EPS growth estimated for this quarter 4> PTEN - PATTERSON ENERGY INC .OWD Price= 29.6 VL/30= 110.9 %Rnge= 97.0 Sto9V= 75.0 W14dV= 64.4 %Hi4 = 99.1 1-Dy = 108.9 50MA = 137.6 21MA = 110.8 The energy sector is soaring and PTEN was once one of the highlights. Lots of stocks are hitting their 52 week highs and PTEN is still priced right.
