The idea of giving all the profits to management as bonuses is not their original idea. They were just the first to have the nuts to snub their noses at their shareholders and employees.

What I really liked was their defense of getting a $1 Billion Plus bonus in court. (That right, their one year bonus was over $1,000,000,000.00.) When the judge said that seemed a little excessive to him, they had the nerve to say that you can't expect to keep great people unless you are willing to pay them what they are worth!!!!

RE CA

DS:

Do we similarly resent the lawyer's paycheck when the
settlement takes an ungodly size and, with it, his fees ?
As in the tobacco settlements.

Yes, I wish the duo will not take $1b+ as bonus. And that
they would recognize that the media will get instantly
hypnotized by that number and find some other means to
get their money's worth. But I also have some respect for
contracts that were not made under duress.

CA has proven an ability to find value when others give up.
Time and again.
