ted Re: Companies going with this Intel launch are as follows:

The Siberian PC Center, supplying PC's for the home, office and igloo;

Your Micronesian Outlet for PC's, Vacuum Cleaners and Refrigerators, Inc.;

Off the Beaten Safari Track LTD (out of Zimbabwe, Africa), purveyors of fine furniture and pc's; and last but not least,

PC's for the Modern Thatched Hut (out of Brunei, Indonesia).

Intel really believes in flooding the channel.

ted,
I catch your sarcasm here. But from reading international press, I get the feeling that INTC has focused on providing its high end to the US (ironically where most of its stockholders reside). From what I read, its hard to buy anything about a PIII 600 Mhz outside of the US. Any thoughts?

Re: Great post! "Intel really believes in flooding the channel."

Comment: It's their new unorthodox marketing approach implemented back in October 1999! I hear it's winning them all kinds of new friends and allies!
