chic, about the lack of support from OEM's for Intel's 550-600 MHz Celerons. Have you noticed how many PeeWeeIII 550's and 600's are on the shelves compared to the higher speed grades? How would a retailer ever get rid of these machines costing $1000 to $1200 if there were a Celeron 600 sitting next to it selling for $200 less? Let alone a K6-2-550 for $500 less. Petz, Good point...and that's why the OEM's are annoyed. They just now are getting an adequate volume of PIII's and now Intel wants to hit them with a flood of Celeron's. ted
