Hey Doc, getting the feeling we've been had again. That PR from last night is likely to cause damage in the absence of other news IMO. Suspect it was some crazy attempt at a delay tactic? Can't figure out what they were trying to accomplish otherwise. A copy of my post to Hawaii on the leader/follower thread. sf ======================================== Hey 'old bud, was this the news that was supposed to take IDTC to 60 this week? I am sorry, but IMO this is just another LOL. First, why in the heck do they have Courtner speak...he is their second major credibility problem next to HJ IMO. I mean, are we not still waiting on his September promised shareholder value plan...you know, the one they were meeting the following September week on per Courtner? The one the cult masses hung their hat on and have been totally let down. Second, Futurepix.com? Futurepix.com? Do you folks really buy this concept? How and why do they come up with these things? Sure sounds like desperate stabs to create more garbage IPO's. What ever happened to all these other ventures that might appear with stars for promotion? What were they trying to do with this announcement? Was it for amusement purposes only? Is this the kind of stuff they're doing with their cash? Third, what was the purpose of the PR? The headline screams "Hey look at us - we're spinning off more garbage companies we forgot to tell you all about". Then we read... ``In the future, once they get a certain amount of size and reach critical mass, whether it be Brix, whether it be Futurepix.com, whether it be another type of a venture, we expect to go into the capital markets,' Courter said..." So apparently this PR was simply to make Courtner look like a fool once again, promising spin-offs, at some point in the future, maybe, of highly questionable and unproven, and in one case, unheard of business models? I'll tell ya Hawaii, despite the fact I did pick up a very short term option position yesterday, all I could do was laugh when I saw this last night. Is it not obvious to all how desperately this company is grasping at straws in an attempt to make HJ as rich as possible on garbage likely to leave investors broke? I mean c'mon, Futurepix.com? Futurepix.com? I could see it as a give it a try and likely flush it as it bombs, but as a separate company? LOL. I hope this isn't the news of the next couple months and must say, this one appeared to be pointless. I can only surmise they did this thinking it would keep the stock stable while dealing with other delays. I suspect nothing would have been far superior to this PR. sf
