Bob,

How does Pimlico play these days?

I've been to tracks all over the country but I've never been to Pimlico.

I remember that they used to say it was an inside speed track, but that was so long ago....

Have a great time.

Wayne

Bob ...

>>>>For at least the 35th year in a row, I'll be attending the
opening day at Pimlico.

I just discovered this thread about ten minutes ago and you made the above remark two years ago ....

You and I have a similar streak going ....
but I beat you by a nose ---- *(by two months ...gggg)
albeit at differing tracks .....

This year at OP made it thirty seven consecutive years I've placed a wager opening day ...
and
Thursday will make a shorter string of opening days at LS ...
and a bit later in the year at LAD it will be twenty something straight opening days .....

I have been to the first day of racing at all tracks within driving distance for quite a number of years ....
RET, HOU, REM, Trinity Meadows, and mayhaps some I've forgotten *(as I AM getting forgetful in my dotage).
but I did attend live racing on the first opening day at all of the above mentioned, except for, of course, OakLawn Park and Plimico.

Glad to find the thread, even tho I have no idea how I've missed it .......

I'm very selective in my wagering ....
win only with an occasional exacta
and I rarely bet anything other than sprint claimers ...

but I do love the track ....

btw --- I did real all the posts here ...
