Just got a cold call from a fine gentleman from Merrill, after listening to his pitch for a few minutes. I asked them what their thoughts were on the market.... Merrill: "Technology is the way to go for the next two to three years" jttmab: Isn't the Naz a little pricey at a average P/E over 200? Merrill: Well, we think you ought to buy the dips. jttmab: At an average P/E of 200, it could easily be a 2000 pt dip. Merrill: There is a little fluff there. jttmab: What are you buying? Merrill: I'm accumulating WCOM. jttmab: I haven't followed WCOM in a while, I remember the short interest was pretty high at the time, where's it at now. Merrill: Do you follow the market closely?
