How about DZA in the grocery area? It's a total disaster there at 17 or 18. But if memory serves me right, It's parent DelHaize Le Lion comes in to support the stock price right before the annual meeting in May.

Of note, they are overpaying and buying HRD for $3.6 Billion.

So HRD = 3.6 Billion

And DZA, soon to have and hold HRD stores = a market cap of 2.9 Billion.

Talk about a merger/buyout gone stupid. HRD shareholders can take their cash and buyback the whole damn thing!!

You can just about bet come first part of November that the holiday etailer's hype will start to build again too. Question is what will be the flavor of the season? Another question wonder if the Barron's article on ebusinesses running out of cash might calm some of the speculation mania in the future?
