hi skeeter. about a year ago, steve came out of the woodwork and posted to me several times. pm's. and he claimed that in fact the steve persona on si was a password that he shared with a group of something like 50 people. multiple people were using the account on a daily basis, which accounted for the sometimes contradictory nature of the posting. he also claimed that it could be shown to be true as many times the posts were overlapping in time. he also said the spelling thing was a state of mind of the group. sort of an in-joke. fwiw.
