(Nasdaq: SMCS). Star Multi Care Services, Inc. announced today that the company has entered into a contract with US Home Care to acquire its Pennsylvania operations. Star will be acquiring operations in Philadelphia, Lancaster, and Pittsburgh with annual sales of approximately $4.5 million, which will complement Star's existing operations in Allentown. This purchase represents Star's first acquisition in almost three years and will immediately be accretive to earnings for the company.
