Baloney. Liberals want to encourage success at least as much as do conservatives.

That's why there are no income eligibility limits on that whopping $2,000/year Roth IRA contribution, and why there are never any cries about tax cuts benefiting the rich because in dollar terms (but not percentage terms) it cuts their taxes more than it does the poor, and why no leftist politicians ever complain that richies don't pay their "fair share" so that the money can be redistributed to the poor.
