I show April options expire that Friday.

You might want to check that again. I don't believe the last option trading day in April is a Friday.

Cooters. Correct. I do not do much in short term options, but I have been told by people who should know that, as a rule of thumb,you really should not buy them with less than 6 weeks to go B4 expiration.

Of course, others say rules are made to be broken--so maybe this is/was one of those times.
