CREE..http://209.238.58.242/Cree_Standard_Deviation_Channel_breakdown.gif dropped through the bottom of Standard Deviation on the daily 6 month chart. It was climbing that bottom line forming a rising wedge and doing nothing until the bottom fell out. The sell signal came as the prices of CREE broke below the wedge line.

Second Look at the Big Selloff If you notice 209.238.58.242, there were more stocks up than yesterday, the percentage off the their lows were high and APCS 2 points up from open and about 4 off the lows, ARXX dropped from high then retested it in the aftrnoon before dropping again, EXAR was attempting a recovery and retesting its day highs before it fell. Tomorrow could be a better chance to have the highs that EXAR and ARXX and APCS retested actually succeed. I would look at the leaders in the sectors tomorrow. They led the market down and they will lead the market back up.

More Hints: PXXI was a clear winner and that is our newest earnings play. Other earnings plays bucked the trend like BBBY, TFS.. I think this market wants to rise and we should have a relief rally sometime tomorrow. TROY was up 5/8 when I checked it and ended the day up over 10%. TROY was a good earner. These are all little 'hints' and 'signs' that there is the beginning of a recovery brewing. I don't think its the end of the tech sector. I think we always get a selloff because of anticipation of earnings shortfall announcements and I hate to say this but if I know that, than I'm sure very learned and experienced minds like Abbey Joseph Cohen also knew that. Why did she say she was lightening up her portfolio yesterday? Manipulation reeks its nasty head. TIMING is impeccable here. Now her 'team' is out buying bargains and waiting to capitalize on the good earnings coming out.
