Bill, the new dollar is extremely susceptible to horrible and rapid tarnishing. What idiot chose the metal cladding for this?!! It's really atrocious. Staining and oxidation starts almost immediately, and once it happens makes it quite an ugly coin. Some of the gold-colored coins from overseas weather nicely, so it can be done; but our used Sacagaweas simply look like sh*t. NOT a coin to be proud of, except maybe in a proof set. Sheesh. We can't even do faux gold right
