Wow! CREE has been standing to close to EMLX and caught the disease, down 19!

From briefing.com....Window Un-Dressing : A bit of window un-dressing occurring in the tech sector today, as funds look to lock-in gains for the quarter. Talk since last week has been of a rally in the tech names that have led the market thus far this year. But the story is a little different this quarter. Not only have many of the market's leaders been companies with questionable fundamentals, their gains have been driven by the capricious currents of momentum money. Most tech managers have enjoyed a quarter like no other they've experienced, with certain fund categories putting up stronger results over the past three months than they had managed over the past three years combined. As a fund manager, this late in the quarter, wound not the prudent move be to exit these issues at the first sign of a loss of momentum and look to buy them back at lower levels; particularly, after witnessing the 50%-75% corrections in genomics stocks over the past month? After opening a few bottles of champagne to celebrate the tremendous gains posted this quarter, look for fund managers to go back to work looking for tech names that have come down sharply from their highs. Particular emphasis will be paid to companies with earnings reports due out over the next few weeks, as catalyst of an upside earnings surprise would provide perfect remedy for an ailing stock price... In the attached table, we list some of the names that we expect fund managers to take a serious look at ahead of earnings. - DS
