Vishay Revises 1st Quarter 2000 Estimates Upward for the Second Time
MALVERN, Pa., March 29 /PRNewswire/ -- The following was issued today by Vishay Intertechnology, Inc. (NYSE: VSH - news):

Dr. Felix Zandman, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Vishay Intertechnology, Inc. announced today that earnings per share for the 1st quarter ended March 31, 2000 should now exceed analysts estimates of $0.54 per share by at least 25% (excluding any one-time effect resulting from the sale of LPSC.) This is an additional increase in our results from the announcement of March 2, 2000 when we announced that we would exceed analysts' estimates at that time of $0.44 by at least 20% and now represents a 54% increase over these estimates.

HOLY COW.......AMAZING.....THAT NOW PUTS VSH AT $0.68 FOR Q1, a 62%+ increase sequentially. That same increase puts SILI at $1.32 for Q1, which may even be conservative.

The ride is going to be GREAT.....
