I had my worst day ever, paper loss of 7% to my port Today. I got in CDNW too early, out after the bell saying They have enough money to meet costs until at least end of September. Auditor expressed concern based on not seeing enough cash to get them through the end of the year. Hang in there, probably see a Naz rally before the end of the week.

feel the pain here too as I've dropped well over 30K on paper the past 2 days and that represents a good sized chunk of my overall funds....but I'm sure we've all been through this before, except maybe for the disciplined day traders who close out all positions everyday....I just can't do that, though maybe I should start soon....best of luck to you!! We really enjoy you here.....tuna

Notice how the market tried to come back the last 2 hours only to fall the last 20 minutes. I have been eating tuna on Fridays and now Looks as if tuna the only thing on menu.

Swiss. Had to leave about 2 today. Just got caught up reading all the posts. Whew. Missed a lot while I was gone, especially with CNBC dropping so many bombs. Anyway, I just wanted to add my encouragement for you to stay on the thread. You provide considerable experience, stability and insight. "And you just can't hardly find that anymore". ( For those of you not old enough to remember, that line was borrowed from comedian George Gobel.) A few weeks ago, I almost got my head handed to me (politely) for suggesting we discuss appointing a new thread guru in case Kim didn't return. I see you mentioned the lack of a thread leader in your post. My suggestion now, is the same as it was then. Why don't you and a bunch of the longer term thread regulars get together and appoint someone? Certainly there will be some extra work for that person to post picks and the appropriate back-up, but I'm sure those efforts would be well appreciated. I still think this is one of the best threads going and feel fortunate to have found it 5 months ago. But a serious discussion on how to improve it would be welcomed by all, I'm sure. Anyway, do us all a favor and stick around.
