But, Pamela, there won't be a need for EDIG's software after flash becomes obsolete.

The memory that will replace flash will most likely be magnetic memory of some form. Take a look at RMTR. IBM is also working on similar technology.

This new memory will not have the limited cell lifetime that flash memory has. Thus, there will be no need to equalize "wear" on cells. It will greatly simplify file management. without the need to equalize wear, the problem is trivial - give it to any first-year Computer Science student.

EDIGs patents in the area of flash memory are in regard to equalizing wear on cells. They really will have nothing to offer once flash is obsolete.
