mmm agreed, but ...that's why i went for september. i'm
going to be gone a lot of april.

GE is the place to be ! you sure picked that one right !

the news on GE the last week has been extremely positive. so i'm going to see if i can hold this time until the options split, and then carry forward an option.

i bought back 500 shares of my DMTHF, in the 10s and 11s.
had sold some in the 12s. the range is the 9s to the 14s.
i put an order to buy some in the 9s on it today, i put a limit in 20 cents above the ask, and the market makers
would not fill it. they knew the stock was going back up.

the downside was that i had to sac my WMT and PVN calls
today. sold my WMT option with the stock at 58.5. took
a loss on the PVN call...will try to buy it back lower as
we approach the middle of april. in fact, i originally
doubled up on the call earlier today at 11.75, but when
GE broke, i sold both the calls for 11.75 and rebought
in september.

the risky LNXWF broke through 4 today.

and the MCK went up 3/16ths, continuing the breakout.

all 3 of the internet security companys i have got hit
hard. those are all long term holdings ... VRSN, CHKP,
and CIC.to . all great companies, all with big p/e
ratios. will buy more of those when DMTHF goes back up.
DMTHF is a great buy at these levels. it's my bank.
back up to 12.9 k shares...i'd gotten down to 12.4 k shares.
they'll go up

c ya,
jeffS

From a lurker, with the Naz droping as it has , is anyone concerned about the margin calls coming in and driving the Naz down further ?

yes, i could have picked up the GE call much cheaper today.
but this is why i picked GE (after you said you were
in it and i looked at the chart)...i was watching it
around 3:30 and it dropped to 157.5 . then boom, it
was right back up to 160.5 . there's demand for GE
stock and i think it built a little base in the
high 150s.

my DMTHF actually went into the 8s, i can't believe it.
this is an easy double on the next news announcement,
which could happen any day. that's why i also went
from owning 3 options back to 1...flight to safety.
