Roger--Sadly shorting has always been considered unAmerican.
I don't mind shorts or shorting at all. If I am long and correct about a company the shorts will be helping run my company up, if I am wrong, the shorts give me exit opportunity as they cover.
SI gives shorts (generally) more respect. Yahoo and Raging Bull act like idiots about it.
All the Best

thanks, hope you are well....as you know, and as I teach, it is often at the very times when no one seems to want Puts, that they work so well....perfect "PSYCLE sm" technical and, more importantly, PSY-chological help/signals, for us, ay ?
good luck with your ZIXI, but I have no opinion it, sorry, chief....besides stocks like, all the Biotechs, Semis, ALKS, TERN, EMKR, MGIC, MRX, PTEL, ITIG, TEF, GBLX, ASDV, SCMM, ADVS, HELX, we have all sorts of nice Puts Gains in the NL, we hope to sell by early next week, as they fall to initial downside targets, like, BRCM, ITWO, BRCD, STM, SFE, HHH, VRTS, ASML, CHL, ALLR, HWP, TXN, ADIC, EXTR, NTIQ, MACR, the list goes on....

meanwhile, as I said, we're simultaneously doing real well going long many depressed 'old economy' stocks right at recent lows, a great period of time for us....seriously, great Ind. Grp. Rotation, for us....

anyway, if I can be of assistance to anyone, please let me know anytime, and best wishes to you,

Have you had a look at EATCE?

10 million shares issued and outstanding.
No Sales.
No Earnings.
No Assets.

You can't even sign up for their service when you go to their web site.

They are currently trading at over a $100 million market cap. Several of the officers and directors have filed for bankruptcy.

They have hired known SEC criminals to promote their company.

Any thoughts?
