Have you ever been woken up just in the pre-dawn, when its still kinda dark and the birds start calling and chirping to each other? Its like they're saying "top o' the mornin' to ya". And then from across the way, comes a reply "looks like a fine day coming up". "Gotta get working on that nest - wife's about ready to lay". And back and forth they chatter and twirp and sing. All of them - robins and finches and chickadees and sparrows trying to outdo each other. And then, something happens. It's as if one of them says "cool it guys, I'm still sleeping". And then, just as suddenly, its quiet again. It kinda makes you feel that everything's okay. Its just beautiful. Rose
