Rather, It's their attempt to covertly influence the drooling/watching public to be ready to buy on Friday. I watch CNBC all day and I like it, but I see them on one hand trying to create events or modify thinking. My favorite one was on 10% correction number 3, just a week or 2 ago. Sue Herrara said that we were not quite at a 10% pullback, (I think we had dropped 9.95% at that time), so we had a little more to go to call it a correction!! Maybe she should have been a statistics major? Since when does the market work with such perfected thresholds about anything? Steve
