Dejavu Thanks for the info but from what I dug up this is nothing to blink an eye at. There are dozens of other firms out there that offer similar services and they have all the same problems as those previously discussed for Etrade and Waterhouse. They just tried to make it look fancy with the wording in the news release. However if you do some digging you find.. DENVER--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 15, 2000--.... American Fronteer Financial Corporation (AFFC), a wholly owned subsidiary of eVision, has entered into a fully disclosed clearing agreement with the Pershing© Division of Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette Securities Corporation for the processing and clearing of securities transactions of OnLineBroker..... Now go to Pershing website. pershing.com You find that they are a secondary institution that AFFC sends their trades to for processing, along with 550 firms that do the same thing.
