JW, after the reverse up from the october 98 low, i kept referring to the street speak of low rates and no inflation and it was dripping off everyones lips well into early 99, even though rates had turned up. I said then it was a contrary indicator. Just as higher rates and inflation are on everyones lips now and people are talking about a .5 rate hike (on tonights NBR) and long rates have been going down since mid jan, i will again pound the table to go against the crowd sentiment. ssb
