Robert: I help my aging parents manage their money. They don't short -- only long positions. They are up forty five percent since January mainly on NN, NBR, SWC. They don't like to diversify and they hate holding cash -- although they have only been investing directly in stocks for a little over a year. I help others also. And of course I hold positions. I am not a bear -- but there are stocks where I am bearish and time when I am bearish on the market. Everything is so compressed in time these days. INTC ran up from 115 to 145 in a week! So I bought puts. I am not long-term bearish on INTC -- just observing a ridiculously overpriced stock and selling it. I am a long-term bear on stocks like AMZN. Take a look at the little darlings -- they are getting the crap kicked out of them -- and I don't like them. I loved QCOM and TXN -- sold TXN far too early. Bought LSI, IBM etc, etc, etc.
