just saw this on the jdsu thread..vrts added to the s&p 500...maybe jdsu will be next..VRTS IN S and P 500 IS EXCELLENT NEWS FOR JDSU!!!!
(I just noticed the news right now)

After that addition last week of a small tech company to the index, i was beginning to think that JDSU won't make
it for a few months. I had given up until now. One of the high fliers made it in!

Now it is a different story.

Look at the comparisons.

VRTS---Sales 596 million;EBITDA -6.5 million;Income available to common shareholders -503 million; Market
Cap 60 billion.

JDSU---Sales 673 million;EBITDA -39 million; Income available to common shareholders -426 million. Market
Cap 91 billion

Veritas being added is very exciting. JDSU will easily extend its lead over VRTS in many of these categories. In
addition look at price to sales, float etc --below are the links for comparison of the two.

April earnings could be the key. I think the VRTS addition caught a lot of people by surprise (like myself). It was
one of my picks to get added but I thought is would be number 2, 3, or 4. They made it in faster due to their
inclusion in the S and P mid cap index.

Selloff in JDSU today? Big deal!
