I wasn't shouting nonsense at all.

IEarnedIt himself admitted that he was wrong:

Guess he was just "connecting the dots". Oops!

How is it "shouting nonsense" to point-out that a statement made by a poster is false, particularly when they subsequently admitted that it was false?

Sounds more like I was shouting sense.

EDIG Patents in Sony, IBM, Lucent patents. Just playing on internet and don't know if this means anything - but if you go to this site patents.ibm.com and type in US05870710 (Sony Patent) - it shows Norris (Edig) patent US05491774 as part of Sony patent.
Then type in US06044346 (Lucent Patent) - it shows Daberko / Norris (EDIG) patent US05787445 as part of Lucent patent.
Then type in US05978810 (IBM Patent) - it shows US05787445 Daberko / Norris (Edig) patent as part of IBM patent.
Is this anything? or nothing - sorry if it's nothing - I'm technical illiterate and don't know if this had been explored before.
I typed in 5 edig patents from Tinroads posts and worked backwards to see if they were being used in other patents and this is what I found. Don.

cheers ROBERT
