There is a difference between what happened with VRTS/SEG (which is not a merger) and a potential EMC/LGTO combination: VRTS remains clearly an independent supplier following the deal. An acquisition of LGTO by EMC could call into question LGTO's position as supplier to other OEMs. Meanwhile, LGTO has announced and will be announcing a series of new OEM deals that provide an enhancement to the projected revenue stream, potentially making the company less receptive to being acquired in the near term.
