You're right that is great news. Because of how news stories eventually disappear from Yahoo I'm going to post it here so someone in the future can read it.

FT. WORTH, Texas, March 29 /PRNewswire/ -- JenaNet.Com, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: JENA - news) has released its long-awaited JENA technology for real-time jet engine diagnostics. 5.0 is the result of numerous trials and tests with major airlines and engine repair facilities. This early problem detection increases safety and translates to significant dollar savings.

John S. Howell, CEO of JenaNet.Com, stated, ``JENA is the first jet engine diagnostic tool to use probabilities to help pinpoint the exact area of an engine most likely to be experiencing problems. This new method is a radical departure from currently used 'data trending' techniques pervasive in the industry. Rather than having specially trained propulsion engineers deduce problems based on trend data, JENA states probabilities based on comparisons to actual documented data.'

Via the Internet, JENA (Jet Engine Neural Analyzer) provides a totally integrated solution throughout the whole cycle of engine inspection. JENA can diagnose an engine based on an operator's in-flight data, a repair facility's on-wing ground test data or test cell data, and also supports in-shop rebuild configuration data for use by engine repair facilities. This application is the first to allow airlines and engine operators to manage all engines, regardless of manufacturer, on a single system. With its unique internet-based delivery system, JENA offers deductions in real-time, based on real experiences of the fleet as a whole.

How JENA works.

Initial engine data that is entered into JENA provides a ``fingerprint' or ``snapshot' of the condition of that engine. If the engine has been diagnosed as having a problem then the data can be classified as being a signature of an engine with that problem. Once classified, the ``problem class' is stored to a central database. Through this process JENA builds a ``knowledgebase' about problems specific to engine types. JENA users then compare their engine data with JENA's knowledgebase of classified problems. The more it is used, the more refined the knowledgebase becomes and the more valuable the data is to JenaNet.Com customers. JENA's deductions can provide immediate insights about specific engine modules and/or suspected ``problem classes'. JENA reports on which engine modules need repair, and indicates the probable level of deterioration within each module. If the problem is critical, it automatically generates an email message to the user. Earlier problem detection increases safety and translates to significant dollar savings from annual maintenance budgets.

The JENA technology applies to any turbine engine. Future company focus will be directed at stationary turbines (utilities), shipping and oil and gas markets.
