Where are you getting this $10 number from? Nobody in their right mind, except AMD, would sell below cost.

AMD's obvious current advantages -

Advantage # 1 - Slower than an equivalently clocked Coppermine

Advantage # 2 - Dissipates TWICE AS MUCH HEAT as an equivalently clocked Coppermine

Advantage # 3 - Costs TWICE AS MUCH to manufacture as a Coppermine

Advantage # 4 - Operates at a HIGHER VOLTAGE than an equivalently clocked Coppermine
