Dresden depreciation during Q2'00

My take is it will be about $40-45M per quarter for now.

(how ....5 year straight line depreciation based on current capital spending to date, my guess about max. $800M spent on equipment not including building..4 x 5 x 40 = $800M)

I would not be surprised if Dresden depreciation is close to $30M.

Regards,

HB

DRBES - Re:"Did not someone on this thread recently bring up the issue of cash flow as a consideration?

That really is one of the criteria employed in putting value on a stock."

Cash flow will receive a hit with the start of Dresden production.

Loan payments to the German government and banks, the source for most of the Dresden funds, start when production starts. The loan payments will significantly impact AMD's cash flow but it is hard to calculate from public information.
