PS - it's all speculation, but I still believe that Bill extracted some very tough terms in exchange for that design win, and I suspect that deep down, you do too. Intel can afford such terms, though. Right now, AMD can't.

Question is, is Bill an honest politician: will he stay bought? 6 months from now, AMD may be in a position to make another run at that contract, and Gates may be sufficiently pissed off about the Intel-Linux RaRa teams to give them the chance. Either way, the winner gets a lot of brownie points but loses money.
