Hate to be rude but Ciao asked us not to post to him anymore. Besides it mucks up my computer. Maybe we could have another GLE lifer update the first post.

Here's an interesting tidbit about Global Thermoelectric I've never seen before and can't date for sure.

Brant Securities (report?) ... "Off the Beaten Path GLE:TSE

Suffering from Internet IPO exhaustion? Here's a well managed company with a brilliant future. After winning a contract with the U.S military to supply highly efficient thermoelectric heaters for military vehicles they follow up with the Delphi automotive deal to further research on the most advanced solid oxide fuel cell in the world. It seems BMW is also expressing interest in the new technology. Three years ago Ballard Power excited investors with their particular brand of hydrogen fuel cell. Their stock has rocketed skyward since then. Global's fuel cell operates on different principals and might have more applications than the Ballard model. Along with powering hybrid electric vehicles it can also be used for residential heating and commercial electric utility applications.

Both the Ballard system and Global's have the potential to alter the economies of the planet. Fuel cells that can power automobiles producing 0 emissions are about 5 years away from commercial viability. Ballard's stock price reflects this potential, but Global Thermoelectric's rise has only just begun with the announcement of the Delphi deal last month.

Starting to look more like an investment than a day trade."

I've haven't a clue what the initials 'CFP' stands for. For the record I've got a 'P.H.D.' (Plumbing & Heating Degree). Some of the matchbox trades say all I need to know is crap sinks and stink rises.
