Marc: "I find days like this hurt me when the NASDAQ gets killed but the S&P stays firm."

You hit upon a major problem for the market. Some will say it is broadening. But all you are seeing is money moving around. Because as you say, the S & P ain't doing jack. This looks like a topping process in the market. Who said that? I don't know where the market ends up. And the Naz correction may have more room to run for at least part of Thursday. But they will come back to tech. at least for the earnings IMO. I probably won't in them then. If all goes according to plan, I will be looking to short the S & P 500 at that point.

Re: " Someone never sent me a complimentary copy of the Werkenstiff stock trader's almanac."

LOL. Don't bet against the Naz on Dec 31st. It has always gone up that day. A sure thing; a can't miss.
