Sunnyvale, California-based SanDisk makes flash memory cards, which are used in digital cameras, handheld computers and other devices to store data. SanDisk fell 26 1/16 to 125 13/16 today. The shares have risen more than seven-fold over the past year.

Interwoven, based in Sunnyvale, makes software that helps manage corporate Web sites. Its shares rose 25 15/16 to 198 15/16 today and have risen 11-fold in the past year.

Rukeyser asked Loest if he agrees that the Internet-related share prices have inflated into a bubble.

'Sure, it might be a bubble, like the printing press was a bubble, Intel was a bubble or the steam engine was a bubble,' Loest said.
