Also, FYI, some recent news on Shomiti. Another private equity holding. At the end of 1999, the company won a couple nice "product of the year" awards. It's interesting to take a look at these....I wonder how many individual investors know anything about the private equity holdings, and the areas (and prospects for the areas) these companies are in. zdnet.com The excerpt below is from another recent related press release.
