Re: "Elmer, AMD is not "falsifying their Athlon/CuMine benchmark comparison." Do you really expect AMD to use a compiler written by their competitor to generate code for their own CPU? Do we even know if it can generate valid code for an Athlon?"

AMD shows benchmarks for CuMine that are lower than anyone else in the world has been able to measure. AMD refuses to publish the compiler switches used to get these scores and they continue to claim:

"the compilers used are the latest available from Intel"

Intel's website shows a later version of the compilers available to the public. AMD posts these benchmarks for the purpose of presenting a comparison of their product with the competition. The comparison is clearly and unambiguously a lie.

If AMD's FPU is as good as claimed why does AMD need to lie?
