Dear Tradesman: I do have respect for Abbey and I dont believe she made her call for manipulation purposes, however, I also believe her call was vastly exaggerated by CNBC. I did see it myself and she low keyed the whole thing saying something to the effect prices would rise but because of the recent runup not so much as she felt others would rise such as the financials. For that reason she suggested lighting up on Techs and putting 5% in cash and the balance in old economy stocks in particular financials. As to the convincing manner, she was very matter of fact, there was no indication of alarm in her voice or body language just stated the facts as she saw them. JDN
