Bird Man of Alakazam............had a very Dear Friend ....was an Lettered Birder........MS...working on her Phd.....took my gang and I into a Wildlife Refuge at the Southern tip of Illinois....within a few miles of the Mighty Mississippi.....was the wintering grounds for Canadian...Snow Geese...( 100,000+)....their winged companions were American Bald Eagles.. ( about 80 0f them...!! ).( which were doing a good job thinning the ranks of the older geese...)had a 35mm camera...hoping to see one of these Great Birds dive and catch a fish..............No sooner did I get my camera at the ready..... That the hoped for scene unfolded......BUT...I ws too enthralled by the sight to snap the picture....I See it in my minds eye today............( did the same in Ranthambore India about 8 years ago when viewing a Tiger in the wild)... Ansel Adams I Ain't...........
