(COMTEX) B: Broadband Wireless World Forum 2000: Attendance Growth Mirrors the Rise of
Industry Interest; Shorecliff Conference Draws Twice the Participation as in
1999
***Is this what you are referring to??***

SAN FRANCISCO, Mar 30, 2000 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Final attendance figures are in
for this year's Broadband Wireless World Forum in San Francisco, and the results
confirm what seemed apparent during the March 14-15 conference: attendance at
the conference more than doubled from 1999, reflecting the dramatic growth of
interest in the broadband wireless industry.

Nearly 1,600 people attended the two-day event - the largest conference in the
world devoted exclusively to the broadband wireless industry - compared to more
than 700 last year. Attendees came from 28 countries this year, more than twice
the 13 countries represented in 1999. Approximately 65 companies were exhibitors
at the 2000 conference, compared to about 30 last year.

"This year's conference dramatically demonstrated the worldwide interest in the
fixed wireless solution to the last-mile bandwidth bottleneck. It is obvious
that this year, more communications service providers and leading technology
innovators have discovered the advantages of fixed wireless as a flexible,
scaleable, economically feasible alternative to fiber, cable and DSL," said
Julie Dodd Thomas, Vice President for Shorecliff Communications.

In addition to LMDS and other high frequency wireless spectrum, the Broadband
Wireless World Forum is the only forum for technology suppliers and carriers
utilizing the License-Exempt wireless spectrum as a means to deliver high-speed
internet access. Moreover, the event featured executives detailing the rural
wireless solution.

Alcatel USA was the signature sponsor for the Forum. Other major sponsors
include Ensemble Communications, Nortel Networks, Triton Network Systems,
WavTrace, Cisco Systems, Harris Corp., Hughes Network Systems, Ericsson, IBM,
Netro Corp., Spike Technologies, Giganet Ltd., WinNet MCS, Wireless Inc. and
Malibu Networks.
