Telecomm Industries Reports Improved Earnings for Fourth Quarter and Fiscal 1999
NAPERVILLE, Ill.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 30, 2000--Telecomm Industries Corp. (OTC BB:TCMM - news) announced today financial results for the fourth quarter ending December 31, 1999. The Company reported revenues of $5.3 million, and net income of $116,000 and earnings per share of $0.01. Revenues for the fourth quarter of 1998 were $5.7 million, with a loss of $1.9 million or a loss of ($0.16) per share. Per share numbers are basic and fully-diluted.

For the year ending December 31, 1999, the Company reported revenues of $19.4 million, net income of $489,000, and earnings of $0.04 per share basic and diluted. For the same period in 1998, revenues were $24.0 million with a loss of $1.5 million and a loss of ($0.12) per share basic and diluted.

Paul Satterthwaite, President and CEO, said, ``During 1999, the Company focused on controlling costs and higher margin sales. This focus produced the designed effect of returning the Company to profitability. However, revenue was lower because of a reduction in low margin equipment sales. Our focus during 2000 will be to maintain this profitability while increasing revenue.'
